Mark’s celebration of life gathering will be January 5, 2025, from 1 - 4 p.m., at Flanner Buchanan Geist (7855 Cork Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46236).

Marquis “Mark” R. Keenan, 75, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family, November 24, 2024. He was born October 27, 1949, Indianapolis, Indiana to parents Dr. George and Bettie (Keil) Keenan.

Mark grew up in Indianapolis and graduated from Southport High School in 1967. He continued his education while also serving his country in the Army National Guard, obtaining a bachelors degree at Indiana University.

On June 21, 1969, Mark married his high school sweetheart, and love of his life, Donna Peters. They shared 55 wonderful years together.

A savvy entrepreneur, Mark owned and operated his own window covering business, American Heritage Shutters, LLC, for over 30 years.

Mark is survived by his caring and supportive wife Donna; his children Chad Keenan (Jamie) and Staci Bennett (D.J.); grandchildren Alexander Chambers and Lane Bennett; Jim Keenan (Carol), Karen Richeson (Joe) and Kathy Baumes; and two incredibly spoiled dogs Tucker and Jezzy.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
