Marlene June Bilo of Vancouver, Washington entered her eternal home on Tuesday September 11, 2018. She was born in Chalmers, Indiana on June 9, 1934 to the late John and Esther Wagner. She graduated from Chalmers High School and Indiana University with a bachelor’s of music education and masters of education degrees. She had taught public school music, private piano lessons and was the organist and choir director at Messiah Lutheran Church for thirty years. She lived in Indianapolis, Indiana from 1961 until 2004 when she and her husband moved to Vancouver, Washington.
She married Michael Bilo on August 2, 1958. He preceded her in death on March 10, 2010. They were blessed with three children, John (Ellen) of Indianapolis, IN, Robert (Diane) of Mason, OH, June (David) Berfanger of Vancouver, WA, and nine grandchildren. Her sister Dorothy Terkhorn preceded in her passing.
Friends and family are invited to gather on Monday September 17, 2018 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Cornerstone Lutheran Church Carmel where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Lutheran Cemetery in Reynolds, IN.
