Mark Lee Spencer

Mark Lee Spencer, 67 of Westfield, passed away unexpectedly at his home Friday, February 14, 2025. Mark was born July 17, 1957 in Charleston, SC to the late John P. Spencer and Johnna Campbell. Mark served in the US Air Force 1976 to 1981, discharged with the rank of sergeant.

 Mark worked as an electronic technician for Indianapolis Power and Light for 40 years. He also served as a reserve deputy of the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department.

 Mark attended St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church. He loved movies in general, especially westerns and action movies and working in the yard. Mark was an animal lover who enjoyed working crossword puzzles and recreational target practice.

 A service celebrating Mark’s life will be held at 3:00 pm Friday, February 21 at Flanner Buchanan-Carmel, where family and friends are invited to gather from 1:00 pm until the time of the service.

 Mark loved his family and is survived by his wife, Kathy; daughter, Susan (husband, Chris) Combs; grandson, Harrison Combs; siblings, Janet (husband, Greg) Murray, Paul (wife, Leslie) Spencer, Cory (wife, Rachel) Campbell; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jeff Spencer.
