Mark O. Hostetler 82, of Indianapolis, passed away January 23, 2020. He was born on September 8, 1937 to Amos and Thersa (Hooley) Hostetler in Emma, IN.
Mark received his Master’s Degree in Education from Butler University and was an elementary school teacher at Spring Mill Elementary School in Washington Township for 35 years. After he retired from teaching, Mark began a second career as a Financial Advisor and continued that work until this past year.
Mark is survived by his wife of 35 years, Randy; daughters Gail (Don) Rush, Diane Graves, and son Doug Hostetler; step-children Teresa (William) Emmons and Troy Puckett; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; and brothers Mervin (Margaret) Hostetler and Meredith (Jane) Hostetler.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Phyllis (Wheatley) Hostetler in 1980; and brothers Morris, Manfred, Merrill, Melvin and sisters Dorothy, Betty and Marie.
