Mark Eden Hunt AKA Hacksaw, a beloved brother, uncle and friend, passed away peacefully at home on December 9th, 2024, at the age of 75.
Mark was born on August 13,1949 in Logansport, Indiana and attended one year at Indiana University after which he joined the Unites States Army. Mark went on to work for the United States Post Office where he would retire after 40+ years.
Mark was a devoted family man, known for his gentle spirit and unwavering support for his loved ones. As a young kid, Mark was passionate about baseball and was an all-star catcher. Later in life he became an avid bowler and tennis player. Mark had a new love when Indy got the Colts. To say he created some special memories while attending games would be an understatement. He also loved his Los Angeles Dodgers and had a strong passion for his many spotless automobiles over his life. If waxing a car paid well, Mark would have been a multi-millionaire. Mark was the epitome of a “Great Uncle” and could often be found with his nieces and nephews playing games and being silly, while eating his famous sugar corn popcorn. And as a friend he was yours for life, as was shown by his best friend Dave Fox
Mark was the son of the late Eden and Helen Hunt and is survived by his sister Sue Humphrey/ Bill Humphrey, Nephew's Bryan/ Joy Humphrey and Billy/Jennifer Humphrey and their children, and brother David Hunt, Niece Stefanie Sanders and Nephew Chad/Erin Hunt and their children
Mark will be deeply missed by all that knew him.
