Mark Douglas Tudor

Mark Douglas Tudor, age 63, of Speedway, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on June 1, 2023.

He was born in Indianapolis, on January 22, 1960. Mark attended Speedway High School through his sophomore year, then graduated from Ben Davis High School in 1978. He was married to Ann Ragan Tudor on October 5, 1991.

He was survived by his wife Ann, his daughter Victoria Tudor (partner Justin Sparks), his son Michael Tudor, sibling Jack (Cathy) Tudor, and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by father, Robert E Tudor, mother, Sandra M. Dunn and sibling Julie Barlett.

Mark lived a full life dedicated to those he loved. He was employed at YRC Freight for over 30 years and served as a union steward during part of his tenure. He was also an active member of the Blacksheep R/C Club Danville.

From camping with TWIGS, attending 54 Indy 500 races, and endlessly tinkering around the house, Mark enjoyed life to the fullest extent. A deeply caring person, he was always willing to help out a friend, family member, or animal in need. His sarcastic, offbeat sense of humor will be missed by many.

Mark was, most importantly, a devoted father and loving husband. He and his wife Ann were married for 31 years after dating in high school and reuniting 11 years later. He set the example for what it means to be a great mentor and father. He was always full of (sometimes long winded) advice and was an endless source of support for his kids and all those around him.

A casual event to honor and remember Mark with laughs and stories will be held on Wednesday June 7 from 2-7pm at Flanner and Buchanan – Speedway (2950 N High School Road Indianapolis, IN).
