Mark Allen Wood Repko, beloved son, brother, husband, father, and uncle, of Carmel, Indiana, passed away April 22, 2021, at age 46. He was born June 21, 1974, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the son of Allen and Doris (Flattery) Repko. On March 17, 2001, he married Stephanie Bruce.
Mark received his bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis and his MBA at Indiana University. He was an inventor, successful entrepreneur, and a skilled craftsman. He balanced his work with camping, fishing, gardening, and hiking. But Mark’s greatest focus in life was nurturing his family. He loved them deeply.
From childhood onward, Mark had a dedicated love for Jesus. One family member has noted, “Mark knew how important it is to stand up for your beliefs.”
He is survived by parents, Allen and Doris Repko; loving wife of 20 years, Stephanie Repko; two children, Raelyn and Maximus; sister, Ashli (Matt) Hess; mother-in-law, Sylvia Fultz Bruce; father-in-law, Johnny Bruce; brother-in-law, Jason (Jennifer) Bruce; sister-in-law, Leslie Edmonds; and nephew and nieces, Frank, Avery, and Rachelle.
Services will be at 12 noon, Tuesday, April 27, 2021, at Flanner Buchanan – Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (Conner Suite), 9700 Allisonville Road. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. The service will be livestreamed, which can be viewed here. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family for Raelyn’s and Max’s college funds.
