Mark Alan Delamater passed away on March 15, 2022. He died suddenly during a routine exercise program near his family residence in Indianapolis, IN.
Mark was born on January 5, 1960, at Coleman Hospital in Indianapolis, completing the family of his parents, Mary and John along with his sister, Debbie. Mark attended IPS #84 and Carmel High School. He was a member of the Carmel varsity football team, wrestling team and vocal music choir “Ambassadors”. Mark graduated from Indiana State University with a degree in Business/Finance. He was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity and worked in the Hamilton Center Hospital in Terre Haute, while he attended ISU. Mark worked for Merrill Lynch in New York City for a short time, then in Indianapolis. He continued his career as a co-partner in an actuarial firm, F.A.C.T.S., based in Crawfordsville, IN.
Mark and Tracy Roseberry were married in 1995 at University Park Christian Church in Indianapolis. Their daughter, Isabella (Zuzu) was born in 2006. Mark was a proud parent who attended vocal, instrumental, and theatrical performances whenever possible. He loved music; from Classical to Led Zeppelin. He followed many sports teams and even did some stand-up comedy.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and John Delamater. He is survived by Tracy, Zuzu and Debbie.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 1-4pm on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Northside Events and Social Club (Formerly Northside Knights of Columbus), 2100 E. 71st Street, Indianapolis.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11am on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at Allisonville Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), 7701 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or All God’s Children International, Guatemala Program.
