Marjorie Samms

Marjorie Powers Samms 81, Indianapolis, passed away January 22, 2007. She was preceded in death by parents, P. D. and Bonita Kobs Powers. Survivors include husband of 62 years, Marshall N. Samms; children; Carole S. Kleinknecht (Glen) of New York City, Bonnie Bolyard (Frederick) of Roanoke, VA and Thomas Marshall Samms (Lois) of Dublin, Ohio; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She had been a homemaker, a member of American Sewing Guild and Meridian Hills Country Club for many years and attended Faith Missionary Church. She was a graduate of Shortridge High School and attended Monticello College and Butler University. Service: Monday January 29, 2007 11 a.m. at Flanner & Buchanan Funeral Center-Broad Ripple with calling Sunday 4 to 7 p.m. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Donor's Favorite Charity.
