Marjorie Lou (Tirmenstein) Sims, 91, of Plainfield passed away at her home with family at her side. She was preceded in death by her husband John Frank Sims, her parents Alvin W. Tirmenstein and Ella “Marie” (Schlotz) Tirmenstein, her brother Dick Tirmenstein, and sister Marilyn Rentsch. She is survived by her son Gregg Sims, her daughter Marcia Stoner; grandchildren Alison Mauer (Mike Quinlan), Brian (Molly) Sims, and Zach a.k.a. Elizabeth Grace Stoner; great-grandchildren Morgan (Blake) Meyer, Brooklyn Mauer, Brady Mauer, Megan Quinlan, Samson Stoner, and Ethan Corder; great-great-grandchildren Aubree Meyer, Ellie Meyer, Helen Meyer, and one more granddaughter on the way; and many nieces and nephews.
Marjorie was a member of Living Christ Lutheran Church. She had worked in sales including Merle Norman Cosmetics, L.S. Ayres, and J.C. Penney.

Viewing will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, April 21, 2022, at Flanner Buchanan – Speedway in Indianapolis. Funeral services will begin at 1, with burial at Floral Park Cemetery to follow.
