Marjorie L. Lindsey

90 years of age, of Indianapolis, passed away on November 29, 2016. Marjorie was born on October 11, 1926 in Pocatello, ID to the late Newton Foster Smith and Lilah (Bodine) Smith. A devoted wife and mother, she dedicated her life to God and her family. She had degrees in nursing, elementary education and music. She was also a member of the Colonial Hills Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Isom L. Lindsey. She is survived by her sons Dan (Debbie) Lindsey, Tim (Susan) Lindsey, daughters Rita (Darrell) Bowman, Cynthia (Steve) Murray, a sister Jane Ermithge, 16 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. Services will be held Friday Dec. 2nd at 11:00am at Flanner and Buchanan- Floral Park, with visitation Thursday from 3-8pm and Friday one hour prior to the services in the funeral center.
