Marjorie J. Sheads

Marjorie J. Sheads 92, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2017 while surrounded by her family. She was born in Marion, Ohio on March 1, 1924 to Marguerite and Roy Sheehe. She graduated from Mansfield (Ohio) High School where she met the love of her life to whom she was married for 61 years. Marge retired from Wayne Township School System after serving 23 years as the Administrative Assistant for the Music Department. She loved serving her church, Mount Olive Ministries, in a variety of capacities. She was especially fond of helping the Flower Committee adorn the altar with flowers and providing food for the hungry through Heaven’s Cupboard. Marge also enjoyed traveling with the Ben Davis Band across the country and to Europe.

She is preceded in death by her husband James C. Sheads, brother Richard Sheehe and sister Virginia May. She is survived by her daughter Cindy (Jeff) Williams, son James (Pamela) Sheads, grandchildren Kori Williams, Brian (Caitlin) Williams, Kelly Sheads, Lisa (Nathan) Wilburn, Michael (Kara) Sheads, four great grandsons, one niece and five nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Friday February 10th at Mount Olive Ministries located at 1449 S. High School Road with visitation at Flanner and Buchanan-Speedway on Thursday February 9th from 4:00 to 8:00pm. Online condolences and a video tribute may be viewed at www.flannerbuchanan.com.
