Marjorie Elizabeth Gridley

92, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2017, in Lexington, KY, She was born Sept. 4, 1925 in Utica, New York. She married Milford Charles Gridley, who preceded her in death May 31, 2008, born July 28, 1925. She was the daughter of Lawrence Robert Jones and Anna Jean Brown.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Lawrence, sister, Phyllis Jones, both Bath, NY. She has one surviving sister, Marian Loreen Hibbard, Syracuse, NY.

Beloved mother of her two surviving sons, John Milford Gridley(Indianapolis, IN) and Lawrence Robert Gridley(Lexington, KY); 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday, October 16, 2017 at Flanner and Buchanan, Speedway, 2950 N. High School Road, Indianapolis, IN 46224, 12:00pm – 2:00pm, with the service immediately following. Interment will follow at Floral Park Cemetery, 423 N. Holt Road, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46222.
