Marjorie E. Rea

Marjorie E. Rea, 88, beloved mother and MeMe passed away on February 21st, 2017.

Born on July 16, 1928 in Indianapolis to the late Arthur and Pearl Thompson. She graduated from Lawrence Central and went on to business college to become a book keeper. She worked for many years as a comptroller for various companies. She volunteered at Community East Hospital as a pink lady, and was a member of The Order of the Eastern Star. She was bigger than life. She had a great sense of humor and a laugh that filled the room.

She leaves behind her 3 children, Cheryl Sommerville, Bernard Thompson Rea (Constance "Sue"), and Pamela Baue (Bill); 11 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and lifetime best friend sister, Jackie Wall. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Jack C. Rea, and parents.

Friends and family are invited to gather on Thursday, February 23rd, from 4:00-9:00pm at Flanner and Buchanan- Washington Park East with a brief time of sharing at 5:00pm.
