Marjorie Ann (Dahlin) Boehmer, 86, of Stafford, VA passed away on September 18th, 2024.
Marjorie was born and raised in Centerville, South Dakota. Prior to living in VA, Marjorie was a resident in Indianapolis, IN; Peoria, IL; Smyrna, TN; and Germany.
Marjorie was married to her husband, Alvin W. Boehmer, for 35 years (11/22/56–2/24/1992) and the lord blessed them with 5 children: daughter, Sherrie Dee Boehmer (9/57–12/57), and 4 sons, Steven L (Janice) Boehmer, William (Carrie) Boehmer, Terry (Colleen) Boehmer (7/63–5/96) and Gregory T. (Andreana) Boehmer, 13 Grandchildren and their spouses and 7 Great-Grandchildren.
Marjorie is also survived by her brother, Donald (Gerri) Dahlin; sisters, Nancy Hanson and Janet (Robert) Breen; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her Husband, Alvin W. Boehmer; daughter, Sherrie Dee Boehmer; Son, Terry D. Boehmer and her parents, Arthur and Mardell Dahlin.
Prior to retirement, Marjorie worked as a dictation specialist with Community Hospital, made Candles in Fortville at the Candle Maker and even drove a bus for Indianapolis public schools.
Visitation for Marjorie will be held from 1pm-3pm, Friday, September 27, 2024 with a funeral service to follow at 3pm, at Flanner and Buchanan – Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (Conner Suite), 9700 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46250. Burial will take place following the service at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Alzheimer’s Association in Marjorie Boehmer’s name.
