Maritza Katherine Webb, beloved daughter of Rosalind Webb and Douglas and Francoise Webb, died July 31 after a sudden illness. Born September 3, 1986, she is survived by her parents, siblings Christopher (Megan) Webb and Mallory (Will) Mason as well as stepsiblings Morgan (Luisa) Mullis, Sara (John) DiCamillo, and Ashley Mullis. She was predeceased by her grandparents Don and Sue Harris and Phyllis and Ralph Webb.
Maritza was a graduate of Brebeuf Jesuit and Denison University. She graduated summa cum laude from Indiana University McKinney School of Law in 2012. Her professional life was spent as an attorney at the Public Defender Agency assisting family reunification. Known widely for her compassionate heart and creative spirit, she was a positive force for good in the lives of her clients, her family, her many friends, and her coworkers. She loved her dogs, Star Trek, over-the-top travel adventures, show tunes, theater, and themed gatherings with her friends. Maritza was a long-time board member of Reach for Youth and the Indianapolis Humane Society. A Celebration of Life will begin at 3 p.m. Saturday, August 10 at Flanner Buchanan – Zionsville with visitation from 2-3 p.m.
