Marilyn Kay Woodcock

Marilyn Kay Woodcock, age 79 of Lebanon, Tennessee, formerly of Sheridan, Indiana passed away on Saturday morning, February 10, 2024 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

Marilyn was born on June 22, 1944 in Indianapolis, Indiana, a daughter of James and Nellie Mae (Mail) Royer.

She married J.R. Woodcock on June 26, 1988 in Sheridan, Indiana.  She is survived by her husband 35 years: J.R. Woodcock of Lebanon, Tennessee.

She is also survived by her children: Kelly, Marla (Chaia), David, Jeff, Delores, John, Francis, and Lillie.  Three nieces: Kerry, Sherry, and Debbie, and 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents mentioned above, two sisters: Denise and Shirley, and stepdaughter Jeanni.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East Funeral Center.

An additional visitation will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM also at Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East Funeral Center.

Her funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM.

Burial will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery.
