Marilyn Joan Klotz, 90, went to be with the Lord and her loving husband, Freeman, on December 4, 2020.
Marilyn and Freeman were united in marriage in St. Louis, MO. They were blessed to have four children; Steven, Garry, Joan and Karen.
Their family was everything to Marilyn and Freeman, and they enjoyed 29 years together before Freeman passed unexpectedly.
Marilyn loved the Lord and was a long time member of Faith Church in Indianapolis. Her walk with Christ was very important to Marilyn and she set an example for her children to
know the Lord as well. She was involved in several Bible study groups and church functions.
Marilyn had a very creative streak which was evident in her writing, decorating and arts and crafts. She was an avid gardener and loved to travel, too.
Marilyn’s devotion to her family also extended to her 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She loved attending their school programs, sporting events and other activities.
Marilyn’s heart for service to others was apparent in her actions. She was always there to lend a hand or an ear if someone needed her. She was an amazing mother, grandmother and friend; and her fun sense of humor and infectious laughter will be greatly missed. She was the epitome of a devoted mother and she left the world a better place by her example. We are so grateful the Lord chose her to be our mother, and she will forever be in our hearts.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Faith Church Benevolent Fund, C/O Faith Church, 9125 N. College Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46240
