Marilyn Jean Campfield

Age 80, of Indianapolis, passed away on September 17, 2017. She was born Friday, November 13, 1936 to Paul and Mary Baker. She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Indianapolis.

Marilyn will be remembered for her love of angels, the outdoors, and babies. Family recalls many special memories made of Marilyn playing on the floor with grandkids, nieces, and nephews.

Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Earl Campfield, siblings, Patricia Louise, Paul Richard, Robert Thomas, Vesta Ann, and Edward William. Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Earl “Rocky” (Mary) Campfield and Cathy (Tom) Wiseman, siblings, Martha Hilda Sparks, Lowell (Bridget) Baker, Marion (Vedia) Baker, Doyle (Rebecca) Baker, Jacqueline (The late Gerald) Mattingly, and Constance (Hughes) Snowden. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and special mention “Lil’ the Pill.

Friends may visit from 4-8 PM Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at Flanner and Buchanan – Decatur Township, 5463 Kentucky Avenue, Indianapolis. A mass of Christian burial will be held Thursday, September 21, at 11 AM at St. Ann Catholic Church. Contributions may be made in her memory to St. Ann Catholic Church.
