Marilee Emily Hembree

Marilee Emily Hembree, 84, went home to be with her Lord on March 29, 2017. She was born October 29, 1932 in Haysville, IN to Norman Hoffman and Elnora Hacker-Hoffman. On May 14, 1953, she was married to Robert E. Hembree. Mrs. Hembree was a member of Pleasant View Lutheran Church, Indianapolis. She was a Girl Scout leader and a homemaker. She served Faith Lutheran Church, Indianapolis, as secretary for 25 years. She was a member of the PTA and 4H. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Robert Eugene, and daughter, Brenda Cooper, and her two brothers, Robert J. Hoffman and Daniel C. Hoffman. Visitation will be held Monday from 11-1pm at Flanner and Buchanan-Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (Conner Suite). Funeral services will begin there at 1pm.
