Marie Emma Stone

Marie Emma Stone, age 91 of Indianapolis passed away August 31, 2017. She was born July 14, 1926 in Campbellsburg, IN where she grew up and graduated high school. She spent many years working with her husband, Denver at his machine shop where she was responsible for the secretarial and bookkeeping duties. She was a faithful member of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. Marie loved life, enjoyed cooking and making sure everyone was fed and of course playing with her grandkids.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Roy Collier and Helen Denny, her husband, Denver Stone, sister, Carol Smith and brother, Bob Denny. Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Lillian Watson, Linda Ray (Leonard Spears), Jane Ann (Mike) Albertson, Mark (Debra) Stone and Lisa Hobbs, sister, Catherine (Charles) Bain, 12 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren. Friends may visit from 11 AM until service time at 2 PM, Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Flanner and Buchanan – Decatur Township, 5463 Kentucky Avenue, Indianapolis.
