Marie Antoinette Costa Coriaty

Born April 22, 1937, in Brooklyn, New York, she passed away February 9, 2025 to join her husband, David, her parents, Charles and Josphine, and all her siblings: Sam, Paul, John, and Jean.

Marie leaves behind her two sons, Michael and Charles; daughter-in-law, Susan; along with grandchildren: Stephen (Jamie), David, and Marie (Noah); step-grandchildren: Franklin and Carson; and great-grandchildren: Isabella and Logan.

Beautiful inside and out, she lived her life as a warm, gracious, witty, and welcoming soul; thereby leaving behind many friends and family who will sorely miss her physical presence and voice in this world. She was always amazingly in tune with people and their feelings whether a friend or stranger, making her one of the most thoughtful and compassionate of people.

She lived her life in Brooklyn, New York, until 1958 when she met and married her husband, David, and then travelled one way along Route 66 to a vibrant new life in Los Angeles, California. Dedicating her life to creating a wonderful home life for her family, Marie also spent much volunteer time with outreach programs through her catholic church.

After 45 years in Southern California, Marie and David moved to Indianapolis, Indiana to be closer to family.

Loved by so many people, Marie made many friends along life’s way and fully appreciated everyone’s presence in her life.

Her presence will be remembered and cherished by many.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2025, from 10 am to 11am at St. Louis de Montfort Catholic Church, 11441 Hague Road, Fishers, Indiana. A Mass of Christian burial will immediately follow at the church. Marie will be laid to rest at a later date next to her beloved husband, David, at a later date at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Cemetery.
