Marianne Cozens

Marianne Cozens, 89, of Pinellas Park, Florida and formerly of Carmel, Indiana, passed away February 9, 2023.  She was born July 15, 1933, in Herisau, Switzerland the daughter of the late Ernst Albert and Klara (Fässler) Zuber.  In 1960, she married Donald Cozens, who preceded her in passing on February 2, 1973.

Marianne received her teaching certification in Switzerland, where she worked as a teacher before moving to Canada and starting a family.  She was a devoted mother raising her three children in Carmel, Indiana.  She enjoyed square dancing, gardening, and traveling with her family.  She enjoyed visiting the family cottage in Canada, as well as trips to Michigan, Colorado, Arizona, South Dakota, and Montana to name a few.  Marianne was known in her Pinellas Park neighborhood for her long walks around the neighborhood, and her beautiful flowers.

She is survived by her three children, Carolyn (Kent Steury) Cozens, Eric Cozens, and Frances (Norm Schepp) Cozens; and eight grandchildren, Jacob Crane, Eli Crane, Dulce Crane; Emily Cozens, Ethan Cozens, Rory Schepp, Anya Cozens, and Ella Cozens.  She was preceded in passing by her brother, Rolf Zuber.
