Maria "Terrie" Barnett

Maria T. “Terrie” Barnett, 64, of Indianapolis, passed away on December 17, 2018.

Terrie was born on April 20, 1954 in Indianapolis, to the late Jose and Mary Rose Elias. Terrie worked in the insurance industry doing claims adjustments for most of her career, recently retiring from Plants Plus after 12 years of service. She enjoyed going shopping at local flea markets and antique stores, going to the movies, and spending time with her friends and family. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.

She leaves behind her loving husband of 45 years, Willard Barnett; children, Shannon Barnett, Eric Barnett, and Jason Barnett (Megan); grandchildren, Samantha Barnett and Vance Barnett; and nephew, William Hill. She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister Connie Elias.

Friends and family are invited to gather from 1:00-4:00pm on Saturday, December 22, 2018 with a funeral service to begin at 3:30pm at Flanner Buchanan- Washington Park East.
