Margo Elaine Alderson-Garner

Margo Elaine Alderson-Garner, 80, of Greenwood passed away on January 4, 2023.

She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on August 25, 1942, to parents Oliver and Mary May. Margo was a Cardiac Cath Lab Technician for IU Health for 30 years. She loved visiting the beach with her husband and sister. Margo was a dedicated member of Center United Methodist Church, where she loved singing in the church choir. She also enjoyed water aerobics. Margo was the best mom, wife, sister, grandma, great grandma, and aunt. She loved her family so very much, and they will miss her terribly.

Margo was preceded in death by her first husband, David E. Alderson.

She is survived by her husband, John N. Garner; her children, Tony (Kelli) Alderson, and Alise E. Alderson; grandchildren, Cassie Alderson Philbrick,  Sydney Alderson and Evan C. Alderson. She is also survived by her sister Marcieta L. Farley, and nephew, Todd A. Farley; Great grandchildren, Parker Philbrick, and Lola Louise Philbrick.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2023, from 11AM-1PM at Flanner Buchanan—Memorial Park, 9350 E Washington St. Indianapolis, Indiana, 46229. A funeral service will immediately follow the visitation, beginning at 1PM. Margo will be laid to rest in Memorial Park Cemetery.
