Margery Ann Mcaloon

The world lost God’s masterpiece, Margery Ann McAloon, 91, Carmel, on May 13, 2017. She was born October 28, 1925, in Lakewood, OH, the daughter of the late Edward and Louise (Kolbow) McGivern. She married Charles E. McAloon in 1951, and he preceded her in passing October 24, 1997.

Margery attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where she was a member of the Chi Omega sorority.

We are grateful for the beautiful legacy of family our mother and grandmother has left behind. We will all miss her forever, but we will see her again.

She is survived by four children, Michael (Sandra) McAloon, Jim (Debbie) McAloon, Gregory (Molly), and Kathy (Bob) Thorn; nine grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 19, 2017, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 10655 Haverstick Road. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Thursday, May 18, 2017, at Flanner and Buchanan – Carmel, 325 East Carmel Drive, with the sharing of family memories beginning at 7:00 p.m. followed by a prayer service.
