Margaret C Heath

September 16, 1925 — September 3, 2017

Margaret Caroline Ayers Heath, beloved wife for 66 years, wonderful mother and mother-in-law, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed into the heavenly choir at 11:48AM of September 3d, 2017. She was born on September 16, 1925 in Clermont, Indiana to Nora and Frank B. Ayers, valedictorian of Pendleton High School, and Phi Beta Kappa at Indiana University. She was an accomplished vocal musician. Margaret was a life-long friend to many from her IU days and throughout her long life, especially among her family and in-laws.

But most of all, Margaret was the true-life partner of Russel, and they were an inseparable and perfect couple from their wedding at West Lafayette University Presbyterian Church on August 19, 1951 until her passing. They raised two sons and provided all and more any child could have wanted.
Calling will be held on Saturday September 09, 2017 at John Knox Presbyterian Church from 9 to 11 am followed by the funeral service at 11 am at the church.
Margaret is survived by her husband Russel and sons Tod (Nancy) and Jay; by grandchildren Isaac (Julie), Adam (Jess), and Emily (Cameron); and by 9 greatgrandchildren who adored her.
Margaret was steadfast, generous, and wise in seeing the interests and abilities of others, and a supporter of her family no matter what other circumstances arose. We will all miss her, but we will see her again around the Heavenly Throne.
Entombment will be in Crown Hill Cemetery. Flanner and Buchanan-Speedway are handling arrangements. Online condolences and a video tribute may be viewed at www.flannerbuchanan.com
