Mr. Marcelo Remo

Marcelo Remo, 88, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away on December 31, 2022, at Spring Mill Meadows Nursing Home surrounded by family and friends.

He was born October 30, 1934, in Montecillo, Sariaya Quezon, in the Philippines, the son of late Julian and Casimira Reynoso. He was the oldest of 2 siblings. On June 25, 1961, he married Laura Marcelo, who subsequently passed away on August 12, 2017.

In the Philippines he graduated from National University as a Mechanical Engineer. Soon thereafter, he was employed at Marcelo Steel Corporation. He ultimately moved to the United States in 2000 where he worked at Henry Schein in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was a citizen of both the United States and the Philippines.

He is survived by his daughter and four sons: Mary Salve Wearstler and husband Dan Wearstler; Joey Remo and wife Teresa Remo; Arnold Remo and wife Grace Remo; his son Luisito Remo and Roderick Remo; grandchildren Jannard Remo and his wife Hannah K Remo along with great-granddaughter Emilia Joy Remo; granddaughter Hannah T Remo; and great grandsons Arvi Remo and Julian Remo.

A service will be held at Flanner and Buchannan Washington Park North 2706 Kessler Blvd, Indianapolis, IN 46228 on Saturday, January 14, 2023. Viewing will be held from 11:00-1:00 p.m. followed by a Service.
