Major Ezekiel Maxie

Major Ezekiel Maxie, infant son of Amanda Tanner and Guan Lamont Maxie, passed away June 6, 2017. Major was born January 13, 2016 in Indianapolis. Major lives on in all those he has helped through his organ donation. Major loved animals, music, dancing and balloons.

Surviving is his mom and dad, Amanda Tanner of Noblesville and Guan Maxie of Indianapolis; Godparents, Kara and Kevin Cook; brothers, Benjamin Morris II, Guan Lamont and Lamont Guan Maxie; grandparents, Jackie Smith, Phillip Mussleman, Delores Maxie, Gary and Brittney Smallwood; great-grandparents, Betty and Louis Herrera; and his aunties, Linda P. Davis and Ashley Smallwood uncle, Justin Tanner and many other members of the Davis and Maxie family.

Funeral services will be held 7:00 PM, Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46229. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Wednesday. Burial will be in Washington Park East Cemetery.
