Mabel Ruth Rease

99, of Avon, IN passed away on August 15, 2017. Ruth was born in Marengo, Indiana on February 23, 1918 to Charles and Anna (Jones) Archibald. She was one of six children. Ruth served as a beautician for over 50 years in the Avon area. She was an instructor at Royal Beauty College from 1939-1943. Ruth was a member of the Bridgeport Methodist Church and a proud member of Bridgeport Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 513 for over 50 years.

She is survived by her sons, William A. Rease, Randolph E. (Frances E.) Rease; grandchildren, Patty (Joe) Gillian, Donna (Jeremy) Gilstrap, Candice (Christopher) Hansen, Doug (Jenna) Rease; and 6 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by the love of her life, Carl W. Rease and daughter-in-law, Mary Rease.
Visitation will be held Sunday, August 20, 2017 from 12:00pm-2:00pm with Funeral Service at 2:00 pm in Flanner and Buchanan- Washington Park North 2706 Kessler Blvd W. Dr. Indianapolis. Entombment will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 21, 2017 at Washington Park North Cemetery.
