In Loving Memory of Lyndel Pillow
Gone too soon, too quick, too fast
Your love will – forever last
So young, so kind, so generous and true
There is now a hole that once held you
We all laughed more and had more fun
For the best time – you were next to none
We felt your love – the way you cared
Whatever was yours with all you shared
A one of a kind smile – a one of kind grin
You’ve left a mark wherever you’ve been
Fierce loyalty that’s so rare to find
You’d lend a hand if in a bind
We’ll miss your smile, your grin, your wit
The man you were, your life, your grit
You left your footprint upon our heart
Only from our eyes will you ever part
Thank you for your presence – thank you for your gift
The way you gave everyone just a little lift
We’ll listen for your laughter – when we hear the wind
When we feel the sunshine – it’s the love you send
Your face will shine in moonbeams as you dance among the stars
We are grateful for the time that we could call you ours
by Darlene Parnell – love you and miss you
