Lucy M. Koch

Lucy M. Koch, 9 of Sheridan, passed away Friday, June 7, 2024. Lucy was born August 9, 2014 in Carmel. She had just completed 3^rd grade at Monon Trails Elementary School.

Lucy was a parishioner of St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church. She was active with the Harey Hoppers 4-H Rabbit Club and loved playing with her goats and rabbits.  Lucy enjoyed doing many different crafts, but the “hobby” she was most known for was her hugs and smiles! She was simply a bright light in the lives of those she came into contact with.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 15 at 11:00 am at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church. Friends and family are invited to gather on Friday, June 14 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Hamilton Memorial Park, Prairie Waters. Additional visitation will take place at the church from 10:00 am Saturday until the time of the service.

Lucy is survived by her parents, Tom and Katie Koch; her siblings, Helen G. Koch and Adam M. Koch; grandparents, Paul and Diane Pugal; several aunts, uncles and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Raymond and Mary Koch.
