Lucille P. Loutner, of Indianapolis passed away February 22, 2019 surrounded by her loving family at the age of 90.

She was born May 29, 1928 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Harold and Margaret Huber Green. She attended Warren Central where she met her High School sweetheart Leonard Loutner.  After returning from the Navy, the two wed and then added to their family five years later with daughter Debra.

Lucille started her career washing dishes at Lowell Elementary School, moving up to cook, secretary and eventually the secretary to the Assistant Superintendent for the Warren Township schools. She was a true caregiver and enjoyed her time as a volunteer at Community East Hospital for over 27 years.  A woman of great faith, she was a longtime member of Franklin Baptist Church and was always inspired by the leadership of Pastor Chuck Circle. She will be remembered for always nurturing others above herself.

She is survived by her daughter Debbie (Sid) Johnson; grandchildren Whitney (David) Pittsenbarger and Evan (Holly) Johnson; great-grandchildren Delanie, Ashlynn, Jacob, Camber, Landon, Annaka, Cali, Bobby, Story, River and Hadlee; siblings Harolda “Happy” Hunter and Skip Green; as well as her beloved dog Tessa.

She was preceded by the love of her life Leonard in 1988; siblings Bette Jensen and Jean Boyd.

Private graveside services are being held at Washington Park East Cemetery.
