Lowell L. Canary, Jr., 84, formerly of Westfield, passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2018. Lowell was born June 4, 1933 in Indianapolis to the late Lowell, Sr. and Olive (LaDuke) Canary. He served in the US Navy. Lowell retired in 1998 from the Indiana Department of Health and Human Services as a facilitator.
Lowell was the widower of Patricia S. (Williams) Canary. He is survived by his sons, Brian and Brad Canary; granddaughters, Katelyn and Kelsey Canary.
He was known for his great sense of humor, and loved to hear and tell stories and jokes. He was never happier than when he was coaching Westfield Little League baseball teams. He had a profound influence on his players, as well as throughout the community.
Family and friends are invited to gather from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 14, at Flanner Buchanan-Hamilton Memorial Park, 4180 Westfield Road (State Road 32). The Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 PM.
