Louise Y. Berry

Louise Y. Berry, 89, of Indianapolis, passed away at home on Thursday, January 31, 2019.

She was born in South Carolina to the late John and Francis (Wood) Young.  Louise grew up in North Carolina and relocated with her husband to Indianapolis in 1950.  She devoted 28 years of service to Western Electric, retiring in 1984.  Louise was active in the UAW and enjoyed traveling.

She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Walter H. Berry; sons, Michael Berry and Dennis Berry; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.  Louise is also survived by 2 sisters and 1 brother.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 from 4-7pm at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East.  A private entombment will take place in Washington Park East Cemetery.  Friends are invited to leave online condolences for the family at www.flannerbuchanan.com.
