Louise M. Bellon

Louise Margaret Bellon, 88, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on February 17, 2025. She was born on June 3, 1936, in South Bend, Indiana, to parents, Francis “Frank” Breen and Florence (Brenner) Breen. 

Louise graduated from Indiana University as a Registered Nurse in 1958. In 1980, she went on to cofound Bellon Sales Associates, a successful Manufacturer’s Agency, with her husband, Bourbon Bellon. She managed all facets of the business, except sales, and retired at the end of 2020 with Bourbon to concentrate on their health. The business continues today under the leadership of a son. 

Louise was a devout Christian, worshiping in the Lutheran Church most of her life. She strongly believed in the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and an everlasting life. We are comforted in the fact she now resides with her savior, Jesus Christ. 

Louise was an active member of The Mermaids, a group of women that met at a YMCA water exercise program, became close friends, and continued to meet monthly for lunch for many years. Louise was an ardent reader and worker of puzzles. She loved family gatherings, especially around holidays. Family was especially important to her. 

Louise is survived by her loving husband of 50+ years, Bourbon; children (spouses), Kim (Tim), Karl (Rhonda), Neil (Val), Michael (Greta), and John; 16 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents. 

Visitation for Louise will be from 11am – 12pm on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at Cornerstone Lutheran Church Carmel, 4850 E Main St, Carmel, IN 46033, with a funeral service immediately following at 12pm. Entombment will take place at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, 9700 Allisonville Rd., Indianapolis, IN 46250. 

Memorial contributions in her name may be made to Cornerstone Lutheran Church or the Arthritis Foundation.
