Louis "Wanky" Bingham Sr.

Louis “Wanky” Bingham, Sr. passed away April 22, 2023. He was born on November 16, 1939, in Jackson, Mississippi to the late James and Mable (Ranson) Bingham, Sr. Louis worked at Methodist Hospital in the Janitorial Services Division for many years. He was a Free and Accepted Mason, and enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing, hunting, gambling, discussing politics and spending time with his family. Louis is survived by his children, Kimberly A. Bingham, Marcia (Tyrrell) Giles, his grandchildren, DaRon Banks, Daneisha Banks, Damontae Caruthers, Latia Aldridge, Tiana Aldridge, DaJuan Aldridge, Cory Aldridge, Shakara Bingham, Ashley Matthew, and his brother, Eugene “Nibby” Bingham. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Bingham, his sons, Louis Bingham, Jr., Lawrence Bing, his grandsons, Keyot Turnbow, Tyjuan Aldridge, his sister, Irene “Rena” Beatty, and his brothers, James “Bruh” Bingham, Jr., Roosevelt “Fat” Bingham, Rail “Bae” Bingham, and Cleveland “Snugg” Bingham. Services will be held on Friday, May 5, 2023, 1:00pm at Flanner Buchanan Floral Park with visitation there from 11:00am until the service at 1:00pm. Louis will be laid to rest at Floral Park Cemetery immediately following the service.
