Lorraine G. Owen

Lorraine G. Owen of Greenwood, IN entered eternal rest on July 16, 2018 at the age of 97.

She was born April 18, 1921 in Salem, South Dakota to Ralph B. and Eugenia W. Mobley.

Lorraine loved being a homemaker and taking care of others.  If you were at her home you could expect to be waited on hand and foot. She enjoyed cooking, entertaining, and bowling on a league.

She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Thomas Owen.

She is survived by her children Donna Mohr (Ronald), Benjamin Owen, Deborah Bough (Steven) and the late Lewis Thomas Owen; grandchildren Anthony Mohr (Beth), Adam Mohr (Maggie), Thomas Owen (Tish), Brian Owen, Stephanie Lloyd, Nicole Grant (Samuel), Christopher Bough (Sara), Lindsay Brown (Michael), and Cameron Bough; great-grandchildren Tyler, Chelsea and Dylan Mohr; Sophie, Charlie Rose and Phoebe Jane Mohr; Dustin and Cora Bough; Quentin and Micah Brown; Thomas Wyatt, Tia, Tamsey, Tera and Alessia Owen; Cutter Owen; Hailey and Matthew Lloyd; Fiona, Finn and Luca Grant; and daughter-in-law Debra Owen.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 21 from 10 AM to 12 PM at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St, Indianapolis with Funeral Services beginning at 12 PM.  Burial will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery.  Memorial contributions in Lorraine’s name may be made to the Indiana Parkinson Foundation, 9669 E 146th St #180, Noblesville, IN 46060.
