Lorraine F. Devine

Lorraine Frances Devine, 86, of Indianapolis, passed away July 10, 2020. She was born June 3, 1934, in Lancaster, KY to Harris K and Jessie (Rhodus) Gay.

Lorraine is preceded in death by her husband, Joe T. Devine; daughter, Debra Jo Devine; and grandson, Patrick M. Devine.

Lorraine is survived by her children: Cheryl Smith (Randy), Doug (Dawn), Dan (Lara); four grandchildren: Randi, Joe, Debi, and Matt; and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Lorraine was a devoted mother and a good friend to many. She was a longtime member of Maranatha Baptist Church and most recently, a faithful member of Buck Creek Baptist Church. She enjoyed singing and playing the piano, as well as working with the children of the church.

She enjoyed her dogs, travelling, and arts and crafts. Lorraine served as Worthy Matron of Eastern Star from 1982-1983. She was a member of Sweet Adelines for several years.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 from 12-2pm, with funeral services to begin at 2pm at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46229
