63, Greenwood, passed away June 4, 2020. She was born on April 24, 1957 in Indianapolis, Indiana as the daughter of Dean and Frieda Barnette.

Loretta had a heart of gold, and child-like sense for adventure. She often found immense joy in the simplest of things. Whether a family beach trip, or late-night snack run, Loretta was up for some fun. If an event had “fest” in the title, she was going…Spring Festival, Fall Festival, Winter Carnival, Covered Bridge Festivals… Holidays, birthdays, and FAMILY were number one. She always did her best to make sure everyone felt loved.

Loretta is survived by her husband, Daniel Rockel; mother, Frieda; sons: Jeffrey (Carrie) Rockel, Gregory Rockel & David (Angela) Rockel. Sisters; Laura Strausburg, Lisa Owen & Lynelle Agnew. Brothers; Larry Barnette, Les Barnette, Lowell Barnette, Louis Barnette, Grandchildren; Nicholas Rockel, Casey Rockel, Jackson Rockel, Mason Rockel, Ethan Rockel, Nathan Rockel, Aubrey Rockel, Camren Rockel.

She was preceded in death by her father, Dean and Sister Louise Grdinic

The family will be holding private services at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East.
