Loren “Charles” Shrader, Jr.
83, of Indianapolis, passed away May 23, 2017. He was born on October 10, 1933 as the son of Loren Charles Sr. and Myrtle Rose (Lawson) Shrader.
Charles worked as a railroad engineer in Indianapolis. He was also a minister for many years at a church in Centerton, Indiana. He was a professional photographer and his other hobbies included gardening, fishing and motorcycles.
Charles will be lovingly missed by his wife, Sue Shrader; children, Sarah (Timothy) Breedlove, Robert (Marcie) Shrader, Mary (Richard) Shrader-Charlebois, Stacy (Jay) Wade and Erin (Corey) Woodson; siblings, Paul Shrader and Rosella (Jerry) Shrader-Hill; and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Charles was preceded in death by his parents; and son, Walter Shrader.
A visitation will be held on May 26, 2017 from 12-2pm at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46229. A funeral service will immediately follow visitation at 2pm. Burial will take place at Washington Park East Cemetery.
