Lora Lucille Coats

Lora Lucille (Hugill) Coats, 94, of Speedway passed away August 01, 2018.  Lora was born in Indianapolis on October 29, 1923 to John W. and Mae (Duncan) Hugill.  Lora graduated from Washington High School Class of 1941.  Lora was a member of John Knox Presbyterian Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of the D.A.V. In 1949 Lora married her husband; Donald Rowland Coats Sr. and he preceded her in death on March 20, 2000 and her daughter; Vickie Lynne Winkel also preceded her in death.  Funeral services are scheduled for Monday August 06 at Flanner Buchanan-Speedway at 11 am with calling one hour prior to the service.  Lora is survived by her son; Don (Beth) Coats Jr, son in law; Rick Winkel and her 5 grandchildren; Jeramie (Beth) Arlington, Heather (Cody) Tyra, Derrek (Ivy) Coats, Ashten Coats, and Miranda Winkel and her 8 great grandchildren; Cole Tyra, Ciara Coats, Peyton Coats, Sebastian Padgett, Skyler Coats, Jaxon Arlington, Jalen Arlington and Lindsey Arlington.  Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society.  Online condolences and a video tribute may be viewed at www.flannerbuchanan.com
