Lonnie Ray Lamb

Lonnie Ray Lamb 82 of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on November 17, 2022. He was born in Newcomb, Tennessee on September 30, 1940, to the late, William Hobart and Willie Louise (Davenport) Lamb. Lonnie was Printer for various printing companies prior to his retiring. He was very friendly person, never knowing a stranger, loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, enjoyed fishing, hunting, and studying the bible. He was very committed to an annual pilgrimage going to the church service held on Lamb Mountain in Tennessee the 3rd Sunday of July, until his health kept him from traveling there. He was loved by so many people and will dearly be missed. Lonnie is survived by his beloved wife, Rebekah (Cranor) Lamb, his children, Bryan Keith Lamb, Deidre` (Randall) Lents, his grandchildren, Tiffany Lents and Thomas Lents, and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Gail Teague and his brother, Thomas Lamb. Service will be held Friday, November 25, 2022, 2:00pm at Flanner Buchanan Decatur Township with visitation there from 12:00pm until the service. He will be laid to rest at West Newton Cemetery after the service.
