Lola Cody (Starkey), 53, of Indianapolis, passed away on January 22, 2017.
Born on November 18, 1963 to William R. Starkey and Paula Morphew (Doorne) in Indianapolis. Lola graduated from Warren Central High School in 1982. She was a Real Estate Broker and excelled at her profession. Her and her husband, Robbie Cody, celebrated 20 years of marriage together on New Year’s Eve. She was always the life of the party. She was outspoken, inspiring, strong and confident. She loved to spend time on her houseboat, and with family and friends.
She leaves behind her husband, Robbie, her daughter, Brittney Eddy (Tric), grandchildren Kiyami and Zeke Eddy, two step-daughters; Hailey Bernloeher (Chris) and Brook Cody Craddock (Chris), step-grandchildren; Alysa and Coleton Cody, Emmi and Mila Bernloeher, and Everlee, Carleigh, and Eli Craddock; her mother, Paula Morphew, sister, Rhonda Craig (Earl), brother, Bill Starkey (Amy), nephews, Daniel and Luke Craig, and niece, Abigail Craig.
She was preceded in death by her father William R Starkey and step-father Melvin Morphew.
A celebration of life will take place 3:00pm on Saturday, January 28th, with friends and family invited to gather from 11:00am-3:00pm at Flanner and Buchanan- Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46229.
