Lois Marie May Reed

Lois Marie (May) Reed, 83 of Indianapolis, passed away September 3, 2017. She was born July 23, 1934 in Indianapolis to Jewell and Frieda May. She graduated from Washington High School. Lois worked as a Beautician for many years. She was an active member of the Avon Church of God, and was a member of the Wayne Township Republican Party, where she served as secretary for a year. She enjoyed camping, family picnics and all family holiday gatherings. She treasured her time with her grandkids and great-grandkids. She cared for them and always had activities for them to do.

Lois is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Betty May Clark. Surviving to cherish her memory are her husband of 66 years, Gerald E. Reed, her children, Mark and Debbie Reed and Jerri and Steve Foster, sister and brother-in-law, Irene May and Gino Puccinelli, grandchildren, Nicholas and Sara Foster, Scott Foster and Christie Knipp, Lindsay Reed and Ben Cox and Andrea Reed and Chad Fox, and great-grandchildren, Jackson Paul Foster, Griffin Cox and Graham Cox.

Friends may visit with her family from 4-8 pm Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Flanner and Buchanan – Floral Park, 425 N. Holt Rd., Indianapolis. The funeral service will be at 2 pm Friday at Floral Park. Please share memories and condolences at www.flannerbuchanan.com.
