Lois M. (Shipley) Mccoy

Lois M. (Shipley) McCoy, 80 of Indianapolis passed away May 04, 2017. Lois was born in Nashville, IN on October 03 1936 to Jesse and Stella Shipley. Lois was a member of the John Wesley Free Methodist Church. Retiring in 1993 from Sears after 30 years and retired from International Child Care Ministries. She is preceded in death by husband Orval “OJ” McCoy in 2011, along with her parents. She is also preceded in death by her brothers Bill and JC Shipley, sisters Mary Ann Burgdoefer and Rosalyn Richardson. Visitation will be held on Monday May 08, 2017 at Flanner & Buchanan-Speedway from 3 to 7 pm. Additional visitation will be held on Tuesday May 09, 2017 at John Wesley Free Methodist Church 5900 West 46th Street from 10 until service time at 11 am. Lois is survived by her children; Cherlyn (Ross) Hill, Charlene (Brian) McLane, Patricia (James) Ervin, grandchildren; Ryan (Megan) Hill, Alicia York, Caryn (Clint) Tomer, Samantha Willingham and Corporal Race Willingham, 4 great grandchildren and her brother Paul (Judy) Shipley. Memorial contributions may be made to the International Child Care Ministries. Burial will be at Washington Park North Cemetery.
