Lois M. Banyas

Lois M. (Henery) Banyas was born February 16, 1931, in Lynch, Kentucky, and passed away on October 28, 2022. She was 91 years old. She married Andrew Banyas, who preceded her in death, in 1950. Together they raised two daughters, Patricia Ann (Brennan) and Helen Louise (McCarthy).

Lois was a waitress for most of her life, working at well-known Indianapolis restaurants such as The Heritage and The Kendall Inn. She later transitioned to serving at banquets, primarily at The Marriott.

In addition to her husband, Lois was preceded in death by her sister Angela (Deanie) Hapgood. She is survived by her daughters; four grandchildren Andy, Kelly, Tracy and Sean; and two great-grandchildren Zachary and Arlo. She also has two living sisters Sarah and Charlene.

A private service will be held for immediate family members with entombment afterward.
