Lois Jean Patrick

Lois Jean Patrick, 81 of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on April 24, 2023. She was born on October 29, 1941, in Leslie County, Kentucky to the late Thomas and Ola (Couch) Estep. Lois was a full-time mother and homemaker to her loving, large family. She enjoyed quilting, playing bingo, dancing, sewing, attending family gatherings, going shopping at the Goodwill Store, even if she didn’t buy anything, cooking and the family said their favorite dishes were her Chicken and Dumplings and Fried Chicken. Lois was a great woman of faith, and she loved her church. She was loved by many and will be missed by all. Lois is survived by her beloved husband, Larry J. Patrick, her children, Wanda (Garry) Hook, Tresa Treat, Millie Cline, Larry (Missie) Patrick, Jr., Billy Patrick (Larry Mann), Robbie (Shawnita) Patrick, Hershel Patrick, Shawn (Tiana) Patrick, several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, and her son-in-law, Linh Dennis. Besides her parents she was also preceded in death by her daughter, Sherry Dennis. Services will be held on Thursday, May 4, 2023, 1:00pm at Flanner Buchanan Floral Park with visitation there from 11:00am until the service at 1:00pm. She will be laid to rest at Floral Park Cemetery immediately following the service.
