Lloyd William O’Haver,

93, of Indianapolis, passed away on April 1, 2017. Lloyd was born on February 1, 1924 in Bicknell, IN to Russell and Maude O’Haver. He was an Army veteran of WWII and a recipient of the Purple Heart. Lloyd retired as a teacher and school administrator for Washington Township schools in 1984. He was a 1949 Graduate of Canterbury College in Danville, IN and also received his Master’s degree from Ball State University. Lloyd was also a proud member of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church.
Lloyd was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary B. O’Haver. He is survived by his son, Michael (Ann) O’Haver; grandchildren, Ryan (Rachel) O’Haver, Matthew (Lindsey) O’Haver, Melissa (Frederick) Ulrey, and Michael William O’Haver; and 6 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held in Flanner and Buchanan-Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (Conner Suite) on Monday, April 10, 2017 at 11am with a visitation one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke’s United Methodist Church. Online condolences may be made at www.flannerbuchanan.com.
