Indianapolis, Indiana – Lisa Seelye – Conway, 62, passed away after battling a long illness on September 13, 2024. A beloved wife, daughter, loving sister and aunt, she will be deeply and sadly missed.

Lisa was born in Indianapolis on February 4, 1962, to parents Judson & Corrine (Legan) Seelye. Lisa was a graduate of Decatur Central High School in Indianapolis. After High school she started her nursing degree but also enlisted into the Army National Guard where she served for 10 years active duty and reserves. 

Lisa was a giving, caring woman who dedicated her life to being a nurse. Not only for her patients at several private practices and hospitals but also in her M.A.S.H. unit and for her beloved husband of twenty-five years, Rick.

When not working, Lisa loved to travel, working with her veterans groups and attending her nieces' and nephews' sporting events. 

Lisa is preceded in death by her father Judson Seelye, brother Arthur Seelye and sister Jane Seelye.

She is survived by her husband Richard Conway, step-children Nick Conway, Andrew Conway (Kimberly Thiede), Carly Conway (Jordan Wykoff), mother Corrine Seelye, brother Judson (Nancy) Seelye II, and sister Pam (Stan) Hensler, niece Jennifer (Aaron) Smith, nephew David (Elizabeth) Seelye, many more nieces and nephews, great nieces Hanna and Leah Smith, and many more. 

Visitation will be held at Flanner Buchanan – Memorial Park (9350 East Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46229) on Friday, September 20, 2024, from 9 am – 11 am. Funeral services will be held at graveside with Officiant Loral Tansy presiding at Garland Brook Cemetery (501 North Gladstone Ave, Columbus, Indiana 47201) at 2 pm.
